Get Involved: Tide Loads of Hope Program
Tide Loads of Hope is aiming to help renew a sense of hope for families affected by disasters, and going about it in a cool way - by means of a mobile laundromat. One truck and a fleet of vans house over 32 energy-efficient washers and dryers that are capable of cleaning over 300 loads of laundry in a single day! They wash, dry and fold clothes for the families affected by disasters for free - and there are 2 ways they're asking you to help - 1. Join the 1,000 Load Challenge and buy these cute vintage Tide shirts for only $20 where the proceeds will go directly to the cause. (And if you buy more than 2 you get free shipping!) 2. Purchase a bottle of Tide and register the code under your yellow cap to have the proceeds go directly to the cause.
Check out their great site to get updates on Tide's progress - you can see what's the most popular color, which gender is wearing more hope and if your state is getting involved:
Sometimes even the littlest things can make a big, big difference, and giving people back their basic needs for clean clothes makes a huge difference.
