Goal #74: Collect 50 postcards for every state (25/50) *Part 3*

{25 down, 25 to go!}

This is Part 3, the last part, to my latest and greatest postcard update! Sadly, since it's been quite sometime since I've paid attention to this puppy. I have a few blank cards that I don't even remember who gave them to me. Which pretty much stinks! I want to give credit where credit is due, but for some of these I'm at a loss of ideas. If you see this, and you know you sent one of these, please comment!!

1. Washington | Sender: my guess is I got this one.

I travelled to Seattle for work a few times last year, and I know I snagged a few cards for my sister. Sooo, I'm thinking I snagged this one for myself. But who knows! 

2. Texas | Sender: possssibly my sister Kristin.
Kristin has been good to me, snagging me some cards while on her travels with her man. There is quite a possibility she snagged this one for me. Hmmm....

3. Mississippi | Sender: also thinking this is from Kristin.
It's just a hunch, but I'm sure she'll confirm yay or nay soon. Whoever these are from, thanks a bunch!

4. Pennsylvania | Sender: Lauren
I know who this one's from, she just didn't write anything fun on the back! Lauren is my sister Alexis' bestie, and while on her travels to the East coast, she snagged quite a few cards for the both of us! Thanks hun!

5. Washington DC | Sender: Laureeen
Here's another from little Lauren. I call her little, because she's just as small as my sister height wise, and she's a thin little thing too! By thin, I also mean fit. She's currently studying to become a personal trainer. Let me know if you're in the OC area, I'll hook you up!

6. New York | Sender: Lauren
While I do have a few NY cards, one from Brooklyn I do not. Thanks for this pretty black and white. I love it! *hugs and kisses*

So I'm half way done with this goal! Still in need of quite a few. If you're from any of my missing states, I'd love to hear from you! Or if you're traveling to any of my missing states, I'd love it if you could snag me one along the way. And if your state is taken, but you just want your card up here, send it anyways! I'm happy to share!!

1. 2. and 3. AZ | Sender: best cousin EVER, Bryan! 

It seems that Arizona and my cousin should become BFFs if they haven't already because as you can see I've got three, count 'em three! AZ postcards from Bryan. They seem to hang out quite a bit. I like it.

4. Nevada | Sender: my hilarious cousin, BRYAN!

One of the best things about getting Bryan's postcards, is reading the messages he writes on the back. If that last AZ postcard right above here isn't proof of that, keep reading...

5. Idaho | Sender: primo Bryan!

Oh, Idaho... I too can't imagine a world without potatoes. nom.nom.nom.

6. Michigan | Sender: funny cousin Bryan
I'm glad you had fun in Michigan Bryan. I'm sure "the teacher" is just as happy too. And your addressee here, *still laughing*.

7. Utah | Sender: my blood, Bryan.
Bryan lives in the fabulous state of Utah, where I was born and have rarely visited in my life. It's a goal of mine to make it over in 2012... hey Bryan, sooo can your favorite cousin Erin come stay with you??

Since I've been a major slacker in updating these fabulous cards, I'm breaking this up into three posts. So let's get sharing, shall we?

1. Kansas | Sender: Michele

Michele is a best friend to one of my dearest friends, Shans. We've never met, but I love her already! Any friend of Shans, is a friend of mine. I was hoping we'd get a chance to hang before posting this baby, but even the best laid plans didn't help. Soon, very soon. Big thanks Michele!! You are a traveling-bug if I ever knew one. Hopefully you can send some mo'!

2. South Dakota | Sender: Joy, a fabulous blogger!
I follow Joy at her blog Spark Stationary and she was kind enough to send me a card from her home state! I thought it would be pretty awesome to get some of my fave bloggers to send me cards, and I was so excited to get it in the mail! Thanks so much lady!

3. Utah | Sender: Sister Kristin
Thanks to her and her beau for heading to my birthplace and snagging this puppy! Have you ever been to Salt Lake City? It's pretty pretty. I need to go back in 2012. Thanks, Sis!

4. New Mexico | Sender: Sister Kristin
My fabulous sister went to New Mexico to recieve a National award for being an amazing business owner. Check her out via A-Z Sports Camps. She puts on some amazing sports camps for kids!

5. New York | Sender: dear friend Sarah!
She's been living it up in NYC for quite some time now, but she finally sent me an awesome card over Thanksgiving. I met Sarah at CSUF in our advertising classes, and she's one of the sweetest! Miss you chica! But I'm happy you've made NYC your stomping grounds, you lucky B!

6. Louisiana | Sender: Heather, a fab follower!
This little baby was such a surprise! Since I was so busy with work and not really focusing on this goal, it put a HUGE smile on my face to receive this one. Thank you Heather for sharing a card with me and helping me cross this goal off my list. You're fabulous!

7. Michigan | Sender: KR, a fellow DZP-er
Thanks KR for helping me cross this state off my list! I appreciate it SO much *big hug* I hope your DZP list is going well, please share it with me so I can cheer you on!!

8. Nebraska | Sender: one of my best friends, Madalyn
Thanks deary for enduring Chadron, NE so you can snag me this card. Hugs and kisses lovely.

May I present to you my postcard line-up in order of receipt:

1. Arizona  |  Sender: Sister Danielle

Another fabulous postcard from my sister Danielle to represent my second home.  My sister Alex and I spent nearly every single summer, from beginning to end, visiting my dad, step-mom, sister and brother.  We have had a lot of fun and crazy times in the insanely hot state of Arizona, and Danielle (love her) shared some funnies about just how hot Arizona truly is...

And since my scanner couldn't pick up all of her writing, I've summarized it for you below:

It's SO hot in Arizona that...

- You discover that in July, it takes only 2 fingers to drive your car

- You experience condensation on your butt from the hot water in the toilet bowl

- You determine the best parking spot by shade not distance

- You no longer associate bridges or rivers with water

- You consider using pot holders to drive

- When the temperature drops below 95, you feel a bit chilly

- You can get a sunburn through your car window

- You break a sweat instantly when you step outside at 7:30 AM

- It's noon in July, kids are on vacation and not one person is out on the streets

2. San Diego, CA  |  Sender: Sister Alex
While on her anniversary vacation, my sister was kind enough to send me some love (love her)!  Thanks to her, I have 2 Cali postcards.

3. Atlanta, GA  |  Sender: Bryan
My cousin is officially amazing.  He not only is helping tremendously with this goal, but his simply comments make me smile and laugh instantly.  Atlanta sure is sparkly!

4. Alabama  |  Sender: Bryan
Yet another thoughtful card from my cuzzz.  A big thank you shout out to you Bryan!  You will single-handedly help me knock this goal out of the park

5. New Mexico  |  Sender: L&C Follower!
Yeayy!  My first official postcard from a follower of my blog.  This was a huge surprise and a humbling experience.  Unfortunately I can't read out the signature... So I decided to give you a nickname (kind of like Jersey Shore), K-Love!  You are my first official blog-love outside of my close friends and family, so K-Love I will remember you by.  I'm glad you are enjoying the meditations, and I will definitely look into those movie suggestions.

Thank you everyone for helping me reach my goal!  In the coming days I'm expecting some new cards from some of my favorite bloggers Dana Treat and Letterpress Makes Us Happy.  I can't wait to fill in those states!
