Meditations

Life lived for tomorrow will always be just a day away.

- Leo Buscaglia

"It is common for young children on a long trip to ask repeatedly, 'Are we there yet?' impatiently waiting for the promised destination.  They are often oblivious to all the sights hey are passing along the way.  When we do the same thing as adults, focusing on the future, anxiously waiting to be in our new home, job, or relationship, we too miss out on the life that is happening along the way.  We fail to discover the peace that is found when we live in each moment, in each breath.
"We are alive in this moment now.  Don't wait for some future event, thinking that it will make you happy.  Stop and experience your life now."

"Today I am fully experiencing the peace in each moment as I breathe in and out, bringing my awareness to the miracle of being alive."
